    Абстракт

    В данной статье рассматривается статистическое распределение тематических серий мореходной лексики в классическом древнеанглийском языке на материале глоссария Эльфрика. В работе представлена версия глоссария Эльфрика, датируемого концом X в. (так называемая версия А). Считается, что работы аббата Эльфрика (ок. 955-1020 гг.) являются образцами классического уэссекского диалекта древнеанглийского языка. В британской филологии этот период также известен как «поздний древнеанглийский». Глоссарий состоит из латинских лемм и древнеанглийских лексических единиц (глосс), расположенных по тематическим спискам. Семантический блок “Nomina Nauium” состоит из 39 глосс и включает в себя следующие тематические серии: «вид водного транспорта», «корабельный», «профессиональный» и «рыболовный».

    Abstract

    This article deals with a statistical distribution of lexical sets in Classical Old English nautical lexicon based on Ælfric’s Glossary. The paper presents the version of Ælfric’s Glossary dated back to the late 10th century (the A-version). The works of abbot Ælfric are considered to be specimens of Classical West Saxon dialect of the Old English language. In English British Philology this period of language history is also known as “Late Old English”. The glossary consists of 39 glosses and as well the following lexical sets: ‘’transporting by sea / a kind of water vessels”, ‘’shipbuilding”, ‘’seafaring’’, and ‘’fishing’’.
