    Abstract

    The article is devoted to the analysis of the class of numerals in terms of their part-of-speech status in multi-structural languages. On grounds of the image of native and foreign linguistic literature the author demonstrates opinion spread concerning the place of numerals in parts of speech system. Apart from that, the article represents contradictory interpretations of numerals subclasses in different languages.
